Ordinary Council Meeting
Mr TT Mnyimba, the Municipal Manager of Ngqushwa Local Municipality as duly instructed by the speaker of Ngqushwa Local Municipality (Councillor NE Magingxa) hereby gives notice in terms of Section 19 (a) of the Municipal Systems Act, Act 32 of 2000, that an Ordinary Council Meeting of the Ngqushwa Local Municipality will be held on Tuesday, 25 October 2016 at 10h00, in the Municipal Council Chamber.
In terms of Section 20 (1) of the Municipal Systems Act, members of the public, the media and other interested parties of bodies are invited to attend the meeting.

NOTICE OF A SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING/STATE OF THE MUNICIPAL ADDRESS
Mr. J. Gomomo, the Acting Municipal Manager of Ngqushwa Local Municipality as duly instructed by the Speaker of Ngqushwa Local Municipality (Cllr. Z. Jowela) hereby gives notice in terms of Section 19(b) of the Municipal Systems Act, Act 32 of 2000, that a Special Council Meeting will be held on Thursday, 28th May 2015 at 09h00 in the Municipal Council Chamber.

The Mayor in keeping with the Local Government Municipal System Act, Chapter 4, on Community Participation, will on the same day deliver the State of the Municipal Address/ Budget Speech at Ncumisa Kondlo Indoor Sports Centre at 10h00.
In terms of Section 20(1) of the Municipal Systems Act, members of the public, the media and other interested parties or bodies are invited to attend the meeting.
Public Participation Meetings: General Valuation Process
All members of the Public are invited to attend the Public Participation meetings where the General Valuation process will be explained in detail. The Ngquswa Local Municipality is in the final phase in the process of valuing and rating all the properties in its jurisdiction in accordance with the Municipal Property Rates Act of 2004.
The Municipal Property Rates Act is a national law that regulates the power of a municipality to value property and levy taxes fairly according to its market value. Members of the Public will be given a chance to air their views and ask questions.

Relocation Hamburg Offices
Kindly be informed that Ngqushwa Local Municipality offices in Hamburg have been relocated to the Town Hall due to the development of the Hamburg Town Centre Upgrade which is taking place on the site of the old municipal building.
